It's been a while, people, animals, places and spacesHey people,
It has been a while since I've posted. I'm travelling throughout Europe and having a pretty amazing time. I have a HEAP of images I want to share. I've been to London, Swizterland, Norway, Sweden, and now, some images from the city that is Amsterdam: (comments/critique welcomed). I LOVE taking people photos..ended up spending a few great hours with the young couple, they were loads of fun and posed beautifully for me. Random, but so much fun! Friendly Dog: Friendly Dog's Owner: Stoner (but oh so amusing and...talkative) Very pretty girl I met: And her boyfriend: Together (they look amazing together, don't you think?): Self portrait: The Red Light District (Lane): Bike shot (cliche??): Night life (inside a shop window): And another bike shot: Geoff

Re: It's been a while, people, animals, places and spacesGreat to hear that you are having a great time Geoff and the pics prove it.
On another matter, please remember the rules about the number of pics posted in one thread Chris

Even so, it's still a bit too many images for anyone to look at and critique ... I can see the posts now: "in image #756 ..." I've moved the thread into the "Personal Photographic Journeys" section, where I think it may be more appropriately homed. Sorry, Geoff. g.

Re: It's been a while, people, animals, places and spacesGeoff, these are great, that is one stunning self portrait with the girl, classic backpacker shot, but done professionally!
The friendly dog one is alos very nice, nothing like a wet nose to the lens! Now i am wondering about the durry in the 3rd, was that a good night?! The girsl eyes in the second are amazing, the little bit of off camera blue light makes them even more interesting. gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: It's been a while, people, animals, places and spacesThat is a really cool photographic journey. Reminds me of my visit to Amsterdam, not that I can remember much of it any longer.
