It's been a while, people, animals, places and spaces

What is your personal photographic journey? In a photographic sense, how did you start, and with what equipment? How have you progressed, and where are you, and your photographic skillset, placed today?

This is a place where members may share their personal photographic journey. Some of our normal posting rules are suspended within this section. To illustrate you story, for instance, you may post more than the normal 4 or so images. Hey people,
It has been a while since I've posted. I'm travelling throughout Europe and having a pretty amazing time. I have a HEAP of images I want to share. I've been to London, Swizterland, Norway, Sweden, and now, some images from the city that is Amsterdam: (comments/critique welcomed). I LOVE taking people photos..ended up spending a few great hours with the young couple, they were loads of fun and posed beautifully for me. Random, but so much fun!

Great to hear that you are having a great time Geoff and the pics prove it.

On another matter, please remember the rules about the number of pics posted in one thread

Even so, it's still a bit too many images for anyone to look at and critique ... I can see the posts now: "in image #756 ..."

I've moved the thread into the "Personal Photographic Journeys" section, where I think it may be more appropriately homed.

Sorry, Geoff.

Geoff, these are great, that is one stunning self portrait with the girl, classic backpacker shot, but done professionally!

The friendly dog one is alos very nice, nothing like a wet nose to the lens!

Now i am wondering about the durry in the 3rd, was that a good night?! :rotfl2:

The girsl eyes in the second are amazing, the little bit of off camera blue light makes them even more interesting.

That is a really cool photographic journey. Reminds me of my visit to Amsterdam, not that I can remember much of it any longer. :)

some great shots Geoff, you certainly seem to be having a great time. Love the dog photo and the last one of the bike. Mind you, they are all great!
