Some Guidance Please.

Now that I have shot my Wedding, I've back up originals NEFS 2 copies each on CD.

Now, I'm slowly sorting & fixing a few up at the moment. When I have done this, this is what I was going to do and I would appreciate other tips from the more experienced among us here.

First Step : Proofs

Once I am happy with the look I will crop to 3.5 x 3.5 or 4 x 6
Save as High 12 Jpeg and put on CD and take to Printers.
I have Calibrated my Computer to their requirments and they said their Tech will monitor in Batches of Colour Correction & Brightness.
If Needed. ?

Is there anything I'm doing wrong here or does it seem alright to you ?

Thanks,

Mic.

depends how you want to do your proofs? They can be done electronically as an alternative. On a CD or as a slide DVD presentation to music.

What are the married couple expecting? What did you offer them?

i use a program called picturestoexe ... allows you to add music etc etc blah and saves the entire presentation as one .exe file.

that being said... i still prefer (and recommend to clients) to print the majority of shots as 4x6 proofs and give the preview album to the couple...

Thanks guys,

I think I'll do the 4x6's, will it make much difference between tiff or Jpeg on small proofs like this. I will do the bigger ones as tiffs ?

Thanks,

Mic.
