Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Hey guys! Had another awesome week with Zeduce shooting at the Rosemount Fashion Festival. Potential employee or what?! Here are some of my wide images from the runway, something different from straight shooting in the media pit. Thought I'd try something different on the last one and see how that goes.

I think they are great. Very different to the usual fashion shots they give more of an 'event' feel and I could see them being used for an article with text over the empty areas.

Cheers guys. Much appreciated for the good graces, indeed number two has had me questioning.. I have another version of which that I'll share pretty soon after I downsize it on my other laptop, meanwhile.. I was hoping that in some ways the negative space didn't look awkward, good sign so far cheers!!

Very impressed Marcus, each time you share something your trying something new or pushing yourself and the results just continue to impress. Full credit to trying sometime different to what we'd expect for catwalk style photography!

that part I agree with, personally the negative space does nothing for me here and they would have more impact if the model was centred, however that is purely my view The last image works well in my headspace, the line of the lights and the faint detail of the auditorium works nicely, the only downer is the model is not looking towards the camera.
