Adjustment Brush LR3 Question

Postby Geoff M on Tue Sep 14, 2010 10:20 pm

Ok, when using the adjustment brush in develop mode, the brush on screen appears as two concentric circles, both adjustable in size...no problem with that (OS Windows Vista). The problem is with a friend (OS Windows 7) whereby the brush appear as 4 sweeping arc's and is not at all controllable. I can't find anywhere to change it to the two concentric circles, can anyone provide an answer as to (a) how to change it and (b) when would you use the sweeping arcs style brush? Hope that makes sense? PS I have never seen this brush style in any of the previous versions of LR that I have owned (LR1&LR2)

I have Win7 64bit and it doesn't seem right to me. LR3 certainly works OK for me.

Maybe if your friend tries reinstalling Lightroom and checking for upgrades on video card, monitor and mouse drivers. (probably not the last two).

hi,
haven't seen that before
but adjustment brush can be a "slow" action (better in LR3.2 than LR3)

you may want to post the question in the LR community forum, or find the answer there
