Thar gunna be blood in th' mornin' wit' that red sky on stocI don't believe I have just made a post title in pirate speak
Stockton Bridge sunset and its changing faces, incredible how in the space of minutes it go thru a whole plethora of colours. gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Thar gunna be blood in th' mornin' wit' that red sky on stocI'm afraid the crop in the middle just doesn't do it for me. As far as crop goes, #1, but over all the best of the bunch is #4. Love the balance you achieved between the artificial and natural lighting. BTW, congratulations on finally learning how to spell "the" Your usual method makes my blood simmer.

Re: Thar gunna be blood in th' mornin' wit' that red sky on stoc#2 wins hands down. The symmetry /colors especially the yellows and the reds are to die for. The bridge breaks the symmetry and makes it interesting. NOICE!
Is that HDR?? Beautiful balanced exposure. Mine was a little overexposed and washed out. Also, are these pano stiches or single crops??
Re: Thar gunna be blood in th' mornin' wit' that red sky on stocGreat images. Stockton bridge. I well remember the Stockton punt, lining up for ages, waiting to get our old EH Holden across and up to Aunty Grace's dairy farm at Williamtown.

Re: Thar gunna be blood in th' mornin' wit' that red sky on stoc
fair call, I am glad I put that one up, it was not one of my favourites, good to have your opinion Greg.
There is one image that is HDR - you have to guess which one - and it is not #2! These are all pano stitches, some are landscape orientation and others portrait.
ozi, ya showing your age there, but at least ya had a decent car
statistics....it had to happen soon, the number of cloud-less mornings I have had... gerry's photography journey

Grrr...Maybe it's #3. Hey what focal length do you use to when you shoot horizontal frame panos? Soooo....when are we doing this again... Perhaps another sunset in Sydney this weekend?? http://www.dslrusers.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=39964
