Some people may be going to Gary's minimeet to check out this event at a civilised hour.
Gather your EL wires because, I want to try and lightpaint some of these sculptures away from the crowds at later or earlier hours. I am keen to do a sunrise AND a sunset to get different feels and see what we can come up with. If you are interested in the possibilities I suggest you look through Brent Pearson's blog.
*Having a powerful torch is an optional extra*

If I wasn't on a ship bound for Antarctica I'd be keen  Sounds like a great photo op, and a good chance to get very creative!

I have been thinking as this may potentially clash with Patrick's bushwalk.
Other options are 30th October (sunrise is 6am, sunset 19:20), 13th Nov (sunrise 5:45, sunset 19:35).
I guess the sunrise on 30th would still avoid the crowds.
Thoughts?

Also remember to bring a black hooded long coat... I have a devil's theme in mind...  Bring your flash(es) as well Gerry... This will be the first night out for some stencils....  *Bump*
