We had a great time in Coogee this morning. The sun did get my email about rising and all that but the clouds had made other plans so had to leave the party before the sun arrived. No problemo; I am sure they will meet again without my invitation.

Nice work Suren, the first shows your dedication to gettign the shot - you get closer to that water than any of us! your filter is filthy in this shot, I assume this was just before you cleaned / swapped it out?

I like the second shot, great sihoeutting style there, as Wink mentioned, clone that handrail out, or at the worst, just remove that 'gleam' it really draws the eye. I gotta say, what a fine example of the human species is portrayed in that shot.

That third shot shows alot of potential imo, I think you could do better with the PP on it though. It lacks a bit of pop and I feel the colours and tones of the morning definitely had that 'pop'

I just got home to check these out on the desktop monitor. I was horrified! I think the laptop calibration must have been way off!! These look so desaturated and soft as well!!
Thanks for your edit Gerry, that looks much better. I suspect this shot was de-contrasted by a dirty (or slightly fogged) filter as I cleaned it with the solution just prior... I thought it dried pretty quickly but I may be wrong. Maybae I smeared seawater all over it..

Thanks for pointing out the handrail which wasn't that obvious on the laptop! [I thought I just calibrated that damn thing. Perhaps it's acting up in that way too... I've had a lot of WIFI problems with it]

Just drove about 5 minutes. [Woke up 0525 and STILL had a sit down coffee at home; got there by 0545] You wouldn't believe that there is still some people running around at this time.

well, we do rock up to sunrise pretty often (the regulars have been doing one nearly weekly) - there is always a free ride if you wanna come along one morning
(just not next weekend, cause I am outta town - but I am sure one of teh otehrs would happily help out)

As Gerry has commented, your filters are showing the traces of your battle with the sea...mustve copped the same wave that you did. Plenty of it flying around so was inevitable.

I like 2 and 3 out of the series due to a better composition. Did you manage to obtain a release from the model?
