Faulty 24-70For a while now Ive been suspecting that my 24-70 is not right. It seems softer than my 50 1.8, and softer than my Sigma 70-200, and I'm sure it never used to be. It seems like the outer lens tube is loose, does anyone else have on they can check? It has a little side to side movement, and also some in-out movement that is worse at the wide end.
Guess it's off to Nikon
Re: Faulty 24-70Mine moves about 0.25mm in and out and a little less than that side to side.
Can't check the picture quality as my D200 is visiting Nikon & I haven't worked out how to attach it to the LX5. Only just worked out how to get the SB800 to work. Greg
It's easy to be good... when there is nothing else to do
Re: Faulty 24-70doesnt sound too promising....im afraid to check mine!!
