Hey guys,

Just this weekend that past, I had the joy of photographing an awesome couple on their special day with Zeduce. I really must admit, they're the best looking couple I've photographed I reckon :)

I'd love some critique on my work, So i guess thats why they are here, but congratulations to the happy Mr. Phillip B ! :) Maybe one day you could give me a few pointers or two on weddings as well.

and here's the set :

Marcus,

These are great images, very well done mate.

For me personally number #2 is the weakest but I like the experimentation with the veil, it just doesn't do much for me.

#4 I like the composition, but the lighting / processing or something seems a little weird to me. I'd be keen to know what if anything you've done to it to achieve this affect. (Amazing dress by the way).

#1 Simple, affective and a great opening for their album

#3 A gorgeous moment and nice processing, if I had to be super picky.. perhaps not the most flatterying pose for the bride, and I'm in two minds about the hair hiding the face. It kind of offers a hidden privacy which I like, but I think it might of been stronger with more of her face showing.. and less of her expose skin to distract (again being SUPER picky here).

#5 Stunning I really love this one, and don't have anything to offer criticism wise, nice strobist style! Perfectly balanced composition, the lighting is well controlled. Well done mate. Hope I wasn't too harsh.

I know what you mean with "doing much" I think the idea is great, just the capture should be executed much better, but I love the idea behind it, I have a surprising like towards the hiding of faces here...

Amazing dress indeed! I loved photographing the dress! In terms of processing... good question... I can remember securely processing color balance, lifting the midtones up in curves on Jennifer, and to obtain detail in the dress, increasing midtone contrast. There is also a fair bit of cloning and fixing the background and the smidget of grass in the foreground.

Amen :D

Thanks for that. I was at a mixed emotion of the hair as well, but I found it to be a great moment captured, they certainly have a spark between them :)
