Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Re: Tangalooma SunsetAwesome!! Love your exposure, composition and color tone! Amazing stuff! I can appreciate this more after my attempts at sunset sunrises.. Haha
The only itty bitty personal thing, which purely is a self opinion rather than critique is the small orange patch in the bottoms right corner is a tad distracting. Great capture I'm soon to follow in your footprints in the sands Canon | Sony | Panasonic | Tamron | Sigma

Re: Tangalooma SunsetNice one Bob, the reverse grad is a great filter. Have you thought about cloning out the crane on the horizon at left hand edge? Looks like it is on the Tangalooma wharf.
I like the comp as well especially as you can see the city in the middle horizon. Craig

Re: Tangalooma SunsetBob,
Your management of the exposure and dynamic range covered within this image is simply masterful. And the colours are sublime. I'd like to have seen this from maybe a slightly lower angle of view, but regardless, you've outdone yourself with this one. g.
