Name That Smell

Postby SoCal Steve on Tue Mar 08, 2005 4:04 pm

Well, my Manfrotto tripod was not to blame for the previously reported bad smell after all, but at least we got a few good laughs out of it.

Matt K. came the closest with his guess about dog poo. Turned out to be dog pee instead. The dog has been guzzling water because of a medication she's taking and she's having trouble making it through the night without an extra trip outdoors. She's chosen the dining room to sheepishly relieve herself which combined with the house being closed up tighter while my wife is out of town for a few days. Hence the strong surprise smell first noticed when I sat down and opened the tripod.

Oh and the L.A. smog, it's smog.

Cheers.

Steve, what can I say :D This thread has certainly amused me :D :D

Just watch out you don't put your new Tripod in a pile and bring it back home with you one day.

Steve

That's made one hell of a story, along with a few good chuckles.

Thanks.

Thanks also for clearing up the smog issue (pun INTENDED :D )

Your tripod should no longer be called a Manfrotto, but a Dogpeepee.

I'm getting a bit concerned here.
In 1974 in Afghanistan they called a mixture of shit (hash) and honey sacred honey !

Is that what you guys are stashing in your tripods ?

 :D
