More Birding in SA

Hi,
while standing in my local camera store today I started chatting to a great guy who owns the 800l - yes really , and a founding member of a bird sanctuary (and yes I am trying to get us an invite to somewhere local) apart from a great discussion I now know I am saving for the new release 400 and 2x, I found out about The Shorebirds 2020 Workshop at Port MacDonnell, Sunday 24th Oct 2010 . It's in conjunction with various Bird watching groups but a free day & BBQ put on by Lecia and Adelaide OpticalCentre (Ron's) (Binoculars, scopes etc) . I have a great brochure as a pdf file (so send me an email and I'll send it on ...or have a look at www.shorebirds.org.au

I'm interested but not convinced it will be worth the 10 hour round trip ... but then we did just do that for Gluepot and that was a great day ...lets see if anyone else responds

Yes agree Kevin bit short notice for us also but at least now we have one more site and contact.
