Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Or Movember 2, 2010, if you prefer to keep your mo in a cup. And from this last week's usual range of wonderful and varied images, I've select one of Surenj's as this week's PotW. In this image, Suren has taken one piece of artwork - a sculpture on display at this year's Sculpture By The Sea exhibition, and using clever light painting techniques, totally transformed his image into an entirely different work of art. His use of light, from varying sources, is just great. And after all, the use of light is precisely what photography is all about. Original thread here.

Thanks Gary and the boys. I was pretty chuffed to see this picture in the LCD especially since I could only take 8 photos in total that night before the blue sky dissapeared and I could taste the salt on my lips... I was too afraid to change lenses as well! Funnily enough there was a sculptor who was trying to take a photo of her sculpture. She was complaining that there was something on her lens that was obscuring a clear shot! LOL

Congrats well done - perhaps track down the sculptor and show your shots - would make a sensational promo shot for her and you may make a couple of $$'s along the way DebT
