I've never heard of the 'hippo pumpkins' - are they related to the pigmy hippo?

Cathy and I will be there!

Cheers

Reminder...

I have just copied from the Adelaide Zoo website the lineup for Sunday afternoon/evening, and in bold one's that you may be interested in seeing:

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES

4.30pm: Trick or Treat Trail begins
Collect your trick or treat bag and map on entry and make your way through the Zoo to collect all the treats.

5.30pm: Hippo Pumpkin Feed
See the hippo keeper feed our hippos a couple of giant Halloween pumpkins!

6.00pm - COOL 4 Kids
Enjoy live children's entertainment on the central lawn, with singing and dancing for the whole family.

6.45pm - Costume Parade
Dance around the central lawn with Tony from COOL 4 Kids and show off your Halloween costumes. Every one will be a winner at this parade!

Plus... you can visit the Giant Pandas as much as you like, play some traditional Halloween games in the Rotunda or do some crazy Halloween craft.

There's heaps to do so don't miss a second of the fun!

Thanks Fozzie :)

What time will people be getting there ?

I'll probably only be there from about 3pm until 6pm as I have a dinner arrangement

Andrew,

At this stage Deb and myself will be there prior to 3pm.

I can not speak for Deb, but I will be around the Lions/Sumatran Tigers enclosure as usual :)

I'll see you guys there. It's been a while since I've been to a minimeet.

Is Plane Tree Drive back open again?

Daniel,

Plane Tree Drive is open again, but does have reduced capacity, as under re development. There will be less spaces when finished, and also approximately 50 car spaces missing at the moment. That is based on my visit my weekend. I do not expect that the Council contractors would have moved all that fast in the past seven days :biglaugh:

That's a great shot Fozzie. I think it would be worth tweaking a bit in post. I just tried changing the curves and saturation.

I keep thinking about the mess he'd make of a human scratching post...
