Re: Sumatran Tiger leap...Look at the size of the front paw on that thing!
And to think they're the smallest of the Tiger species.
Re: Sumatran Tiger leap...Fozzie
How'd you get him to hold that pose while you set up the tripod? Seriously.....you still the catman! Regards

Re: Sumatran Tiger leap...That's an amazing shot. It's rare to see him move, much less perform like this. This photo's a keeper for sure.
I think you should go back and take the shot again, this time make sure the subject gives you eye contact... Daniel Nikon D4, D2Xs, D70, Nikkors and Sigmas lenses from 10 to 400mm

Re: Sumatran Tiger leap...Nice shot Fozzi, I would like to see this cropped in portrait orientation with just the front half of the tiger showing.

Re: Sumatran Tiger leap...Great timing on the shot, the lighting is great, also has a studio feel to it! I agree with Ozi on the portrait crop idea, I found myself looking for his tail which is chopped off, is this full frame or cropped already? With the prime your composition is probably a bit limited.
What was he jumping towards and for? gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
