PotW 28 Deccember 2010

Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

PotW 28 Deccember 2010

Although there were fewer images than usual because of the holiday season, quality was still very good for the final PotW for 2010.

The photograph I have chosen is from this post by wink.

This type of photography is deceptively difficult, and here wink has managed to pull all the important parts of the composition together into a very pleasing result.

The exposure of the white car is spot on, there is wonderful detail in the sky, and the reflection in the water on the ground is excellent. Well done, wink.

This means that one of my images was chosen for the first POTW for 2010 and the last. Lol!
