We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Not quite so green, Mount Buffalo
The deal to get me down to the outlaws for Christmas was that I got to be up on Mount Buffalo on Boxing Day. Had a great, peaceful, day out hiking about the place. It even rained a little.
 Most of the mountain was ravaged by fire the same year as the snowies got burned, neither are back to their former glory as yet. Trees grow so slowly at these altitudes.   The view from half way up The Horn back along the plateu, roughly West. The silver hue on the hills is all dead timber.  Northish out of the viewing hut that dates back to around 1900. #2 works really well! I love the frame that the window makes...obviously someone was watching where they put that window!

Yeah they used to think of that sort of thing way back when. Is this one looking dark to you guys?I am really enjoying the 24-70, it is becoming my more commonly used lense. Regards Colin

Nice photo's Colin.
I was actually down in bright aswell at the same time. If you got any photos of the Paragliders jumping off Mystic you might see me =) Was my dream to fly over buffalo to get some photos but alas the conditions didn't let us get over buffalo. I did go up there though to take some photos. Infact we have a very similar #2 photo =) I'll post some in another thread....I loved the dead snowgums for foreground. #4 for me I would maybe PP this to have a darker mood though as the snow gums give it that feeling. -Dave

Sorry Dave all I saw were some climbers on the Horn, and I did not end up taking pics of them. I did see the launching ramp for the hang glider folk over near the old challet, bit to keen for me.  Regards Colin
