Strewth!

Postby the foto fanatic on Fri Jan 28, 2011 11:16 am

"Strewth" is the name of a daily column in The Australian.

Here is an item from today's column:

"A former beauty queen has become the first person in the world to graduate with a masters degree in Beatles studies."

Man, why wasn't that available when I was at school in the sixties?

ok, I want to tell you about A Day in the Life of a beauty queen ...
Every little thing she does is tracked by the Boys around her
On her Birthday, she tries to Act Naturally, but everyone knows she has a Devil in her heart

and, she studied Eight Days a week, but things are Getting better all the time!

I said to her, Hey Jude, why study the beatles? but I got No Reply

OK I'm done :D

Trevor,

This is all your fault. You're making our Friday a Misery; keep it up and we'll put you in Chains. For No One. And then you'll end up as a Nowhere Man.

My suggestion? Run For Your Life. Dig It ?

They were otherwise known as Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Of course sometimes they borrowed Maxwell's Silver Hammer instead of the club.

To Get Back to the Masters Degree.
What does it qualify you for? Becoming a Paperback Writer of course.
And I suppose her title is Lady Madonna, not PhD

Of course her examiners were probably seeing Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
