It was good to catch up with Greg today, and despite the baking sun, the ND Grad kit proved useful

Cameron, I really love the clouds in the first, you've got a purple flare spot in the middle thats a bit distracting that you might want to try cloning out. Theres something about the rocks at the bottom however - I think they need to be less exposed or something - they just look a bit too washed out.

I also feel that there is something lacking in the stone.
I like the composition of the third image. It is telling a story for me.

Flare noted (must clean off filters and lens) ..I have actually pulled it back a bit from the original, but then backed it off a bit again...maybe I will have another play with those rocks.

#1 with exposure on rock adjusted...flare left (have yet to work out the best way to get rid of it in CNX2....cloning is not really that much chop for a patch that large)

I like that reworked image cameron - nice spotting on the clouds and great use of the CPL. I would just bump the contrast using a mask on the lower part to get it to match the sky.

Thanks mate...but no CPL used (I dont have the necessary step up rings to go from 52 -> 77, nor do I own a 52mm CPL) just stacked ND4 and ND8 grads.
