POTW 8 Feb 2011

Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

POTW 8 Feb 2011

This week's PotW is a rather whimsical image from Alex, showing a group of monks in saffron robes, looking at a DSLR camera. The original post is here, and here is the image.

I like the image because of the rugged jungle setting and the contrast with humble, simply-clad monks, one even without shoes, chimping a modern digital camera. It made me smile as soon as I saw it.
