Curl Curl BeachThis first image, for me, is quintessential australian summer on the northern beaches - I also really like it because of the apparent father-son bonding.
peak hour... and for those claimed by the sea. gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Curl Curl BeachI do like the concept of what you have captured in #1 Gerry.

Re: Curl Curl Beach
in hindsight, a lower POV with some horizon may have been better suited to this image, not much for the eye to follow.

Re: Curl Curl BeachFirst image is beautiful technical quality...(is it the 105mm?) and perfect composition. You got the balance perfect and it makes the image very easy to look at.

Re: Curl Curl BeachAlmost missed this series!
#1 not ringing my bell that much. I think your idea of the lower POV may be a good one. #3 You could crop to square from the top. Just have those people and the water. Great light on this!

Re: Curl Curl BeachDat is bootiful composition dude. Nice double S like flow. You could crop those waves right at the top. They don't add much.
