Behind-the-scenes (sports clothing shoot)

Postby firsty on Fri Jul 20, 2007 8:18 pm

Photographer Chase Jarvis has put up another behind the scenes video of one of his commercial shoots to show what is involved logistically and the number of people needed to get just a few great shots

http://chasejarvis.com/blog/2007/07/chase-jarvis-raw-new-zealand-spring.html

here is one of his earlier vidios that is also very good

and finally this one is a compilation featuring every image he shot during a 5-day period with all the rejects, strobe miss fires and blown angles still left in, with all the keepers highlighted... very interesting

Enjoy, be motivated :)

Thanks Keith, they are very interesting. It's great to get a glimpse into what really goes into making those images.

Chase Jarvis is one of the reasons that the D7000 sold out BEFORE it was even released.

Suren, whilst it doesn't change the validity of your feedback, the original post is almost 4 years old. I think it was resurfaced by a troll?

:biglaugh:

In this case, the troll made me waste about half and hour trolling through the Jarvis files! His 'available light' landscape/clothing shots are amazing!
