D7000 ISO 6400/25600 from the Newtown Street/Graf Session...For Suren
Here are those shots we took with the D7000 in that dark (unlit) railway tunnel - with bright light coming in from the opening at the other end (i.e. extreme conditions )... The first two are straight out of camera - no adjustments in Lightroom using the D7000 at ISO 6400 and then at ISO 25600 (AKA the Canon 60D at ISO 400 ) NIKON D7000 + 17.0-50.0 mm f/2.8 @ 17 mm, 1/30 sec at f / 4, ISO 6400 NIKON D7000 + 17.0-50.0 mm f/2.8 @ 17 mm, 1/160 sec at f / 4, ISO 25600 and this is the same ISO 25600 shot as above with 2 seconds worth of Noise Reduction adjustment in Lightroom (Luminance NR to 35): D600, D7000, Nikon/Sigma/Tamron Lenses, Nikon Flashes, Sirui/Manfrotto/Benro Sticks

Re: D7000 ISO 6400/25600 from the Newtown Street/Graf Session...Can't imaging how they are improve this sensor. But I bet they will.
No probs though, Canon will come up with more megapixels. 5d3 will have 28 apparently... 1D4s probably 40. Their latest sensor has 128 Mpix and is noisy at ISO 100.
