Working Dogs & a TurkeyHi Guys
Spent the weekend down at Phillip Island and visited Churchill Island where these shots were taken. Thanks for looking Bruce Cheers, Bruce

Re: Working Dogs & a TurkeyThat first shot is great (love the character and expression) and I also like the third (if I was super picky the first could have been framed a little lower and the third could perhaps have done with a touch extra dof or focusing slightly further in). A nice series.

Lifes journey is not to arrive at our grave in a well preserved body but, rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, "Wow what a ride." D70s, D300, 70-300ED, 18-70 Kit Lens, Nikkor 105 Micro. Manfrotto 190Prob Ball head. SB800 x 2.
Re: Working Dogs & a TurkeyNice set of images, however that turkey is one fugly bird
As mentioned, I would crop the first to remove some of that dead space on the top of the image, also all the images feel very 'warm' which is not a bad thing but I would consider backign that off a fraction. The third image is the pick for me, it has context and good composition and holds the viewer quite well, the extra dof might have helped but really its not a showstopper for me. gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Working Dogs & a Turkey#1 is brilliant...lose a bit off the top and you have a real winner!
