Autumn Colour in the Mountains...Couldn't choose sorry
Thanks to Colin for arranging our meetup in the mountains to photograph the fall colour - I took two of my munchkins who also took photos (they've not PP theirs yet ) and I've split my images into three sets to post - Fall Colour, Fungi and some of the girls... Feedback welcomed... The first image was taken on the drive up (Bells Line of Road) from Richmond - the view is back towards the coast Morning Vapours NIKON D7000 + 70.0-300.0 mm f/4.5-5.6 @ 86 mm, 1/500 sec at f / 8.0, ISO 100 Just after we arrived at 9AM and before peak hour traffic filled Mt Wilson with cars and hundreds of avid photographers Autumn Avenue NIKON D7000 + 17.0-50.0 mm f/2.8 @ 32 mm, 1/60 sec at f / 8.0, ISO 450 Yellow NIKON D7000 + 70.0-300.0 mm f/4.5-5.6 @ 70 mm, 1/60 sec at f / 4.5, ISO 250 This last image was taken at Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens in the afternoon on the way home Autumn Path NIKON D7000 + 17.0-50.0 mm f/2.8 @ 32 mm, 1/125 sec at f / 11, ISO 100 D600, D7000, Nikon/Sigma/Tamron Lenses, Nikon Flashes, Sirui/Manfrotto/Benro Sticks

Re: Autumn Colour in the Mountains...Rodney
A good set of images, with my pick being #2. I like the framing which makes the most of both the road and the natural arch of trees and the good use of the colour without over doing it. Peter

Re: Autumn Colour in the Mountains...
Thanks - whilst I do really like #2 for some reason my own favourite is #4 - I'm not exactly sure why I like it but I feel like I do?? (although no-one else who's seen it and about 10-15 other images has included it in their "picks"). D600, D7000, Nikon/Sigma/Tamron Lenses, Nikon Flashes, Sirui/Manfrotto/Benro Sticks

Re: Autumn Colour in the Mountains...I also like the second Rodney, but the first with the mist in the hils is one of the reasons I live up here. I love mist in the gullies and on the peaks. Bring back lots of fond memories.
