Re: [SYD] Sunrise - Devils Couldronmore *yawnage*
its a good location but there are so many times you can take a picture of that gully, i ended up with a fair few shots but not much variation in composition. Plus you gotta wait for the big sets to come thru so its 10 shots of teh same stuff to nail one with the waves you like... The old hand grad worked..sort of... gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: [SYD] Sunrise - Devils CouldronGerry, you may be getting bored of that gully....but the images are stunning jsut the same.

Re: [SYD] Sunrise - Devils Couldron
The problem is that I struggle to see a good image on the seascapes anymore - I need to try something different next time, maybe just turn up and use the 300mm only! I might try that at teh shire next week.. gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: [SYD] Sunrise - Devils CouldronI like the colour/light you have obtained in these Gerry.

Knowing you, you would still manage something with that! Cameron

Re: [SYD] Sunrise - Devils Couldron
Cheers! Actually, looking back on these images a couple of days later I am still liking the looks of #1 and #3, might even make it into gallery gerry's photography journey

Re: [SYD] Sunrise - Devils CouldronGerry,
Compo wise these are all good but #3 being strongest. #1 I think you could back off on the blacks a little. Hand grad has worked! #3 did you use your grad at an angle here? If so, nice job hiding it!
