There will be an impromptu sunrise shoot on the 28th May at Devil's Cauldron. :violin:

It was this morning...I didnt attend though. I slept in and then picked up my D80IR....

I will post results soon, at this point in time I am trying to work out the best workflow for this camera.

more *yawnage* :wink:

its a good location but there are so many times you can take a picture of that gully, i ended up with a fair few shots but not much variation in composition. Plus you gotta wait for the big sets to come thru so its 10 shots of teh same stuff to nail one with the waves you like... :violin:

The old hand grad worked..sort of...

Gerry, you may be getting bored of that gully....but the images are stunning jsut the same.

The problem is that I struggle to see a good image on the seascapes anymore - I need to try something different next time, maybe just turn up and use the 300mm only! I might try that at teh shire next week..

Actually, looking back on these images a couple of days later I am still liking the looks of #1 and #3, might even make it into gallery :up:

Gerry,

Compo wise these are all good but #3 being strongest.

#1 I think you could back off on the blacks a little. Hand grad has worked! :violin:

#3 did you use your grad at an angle here? If so, nice job hiding it! :cheers:
