Nikkor 135 f2.8

With everyone getting new bodies, I think that separate section for you to proudly display your first image from your new acquisition is in order.

This applies to brand new bodies, as well as bodies that are simply newly acquired by you.

Nikkor 135 f2.8

Postby biggerry on Sun Jul 03, 2011 9:10 pm

Thanks to Cameron for his help, helped lighten my wallet

I think I am gonna enjoy this lens, good focal lenght albeit a bit restrictive but nice and sharp and provides pretty sweet contrast. This one is in very good nick and the focus rings is just right.

At initial thoughts I would put this up there with the 105mm f2.5, however it is definitely still second rate when compared to it

Gerry, I am still uncertain if you will use this lens much (that 105mm is too good)...but it is a VERY nice copy of a very good lens.

I really like #2

i agree, i am not sure how much i will use it, however I don't want to be kicking myself later wondering whether I would, and for that amount its a pretty cheap and safe excerise.

Definitely a safe exercise considering the price you netted it for! It is in real good nick as well.....

:rotfl2: Congrats. I knew there was going to be some damage at the camera market. I reckon it might be a nice video lens as well (if you can keep your hands still)

Glad you bagged a bargain Gerry. If the lens is even remotely like the Canon 135 F2, then you will have a cracker lens.

yeah dunno ozi, the canon has some good reviews by the look of things and of course it has AF - what I love about these older nikkors is their size, due to no AF or conehead stuff the barrel size is quite small and length (100mm) which makes them great for when weight is a bit of a issue.
