A Sydney based photography challenge with prizes - cost to enter $15 you get given a map and brief to shoot, registration and payment is online.

Sounds interesting and a good excuse to get out and shoot.

yeah it looks like it could be a interesting day there will be a fair few aussie forum peeps out i reckon, it may be worthwhile reading the TCs for where your images go.

As a condition of entering this competition, each participant licences Foto Riesel, Fairfax Media, State Library of NSW and Canon to use their entry in any media for an unlimited time for the purposes of promotion of future Challenges, including publishing the entries on the website. As a further condition, each winning participant also licenses Foto Riesel, Fairfax Media, State Library of NSW and Canon to use their images for the purpose of promoting upcoming events, for an unlimited time. Appropriate photographic credits will be applied.

Yep I entered to participate - can't remember my exact start time 10:30 I think. I also registered for one of the talks in the afternoon at the library.

As far as TC's go for photo comps, these are actually pretty good, I've read my fair share of TC's and these are mellow compared to some I have come across.

I agree, this reads to me that they will only use the images for the upcoming challenges and 'other' upcoming events.
