Camera InsuranceHi Guys
I know this has been asked before, but who is best to insure the gear with. At present I have a $17000 policy clause added to my household insurance, which covers me for home and also in the field. The insurance company is NRMA and the extra premium is $266. Is this reasonable ? Thanks Jeff
Re: Camera InsuranceVery reasonable. Does it include public liability though?
I am through AON, and pay about $800 a year for 16K of gear and 10 mill public liability. You shooting Bathurst? 2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc

Re: Camera InsuranceThe cost for NRMA sounds resonable to me.
I can see the possible need for public liability (Is it an accrditation requirement?) but it is a big jump for what would be a very low probibility event. But I supose that a big lens could poke someone in the eye. Craig
