DSLRUsers.com Roll Call

Postby biggerry on Mon Sep 05, 2011 11:09 am

While ya 'all are still reeling from the recent Australian Census why not put your hand up here too. Could generate some interesting results and it would be nice to know what kind of numbers are truly visiting here.

Does checking everyday (sometimes more than once) mean I am addicted or just VERY ACTIVE?

I also had this dilema but in the end opted for Active (even though addicted may well be warranted :))

As a lurker, as soon as I cast my vote I have invalidated it as I am no longer lurking!

is posting on a poll breaking the concept of a lurker? I think not.

I am surprised there are not more outcrys about the lack of choice or teh fact that the choices are not clear, or why their cat was not included or why it was sunny today, or why the internet is slow or why a bird shat on them today....

sweet lord, all ya gotta do is vote, it ain't rocket science, don't think too hard about it..it might hurt ya head. :biglaugh:

Was once a 15 post a day addict, but I learnt to over come my addition (sic) or replace it (with work).

So now I'd say, sporadically active :)

This site replicates life.

When it was young I frolicked every day (look at my post count) but as the site matured so did I and in doing so left all of the hard posting to a new generation of youngsters.

I look in every day but now I post on sites that cater to my other hobbies and profession.

That is similar to my experience. Together with the fact that I just simply don't pick up the camera enough means I don't have photos to post.

jebus! I certainly hope this site does not replicate life :rotfl2:

What is meant by hard posting and where is this generation of youngsters

I wish I knew what compunction is - I had to google that one

So there are essentially 40 odd abusers according to the super accurate poll, interesting results - well done.

It would be great to collate these stats with amount of views (averaged or something...) and amount of log-ins and amount of people logging-in without posting. Also we could track everyone with their ip.....

What a fitting post to come back to - I was an "addicted" user for about 4-5 years until my career took over my life about 3 years ago. Thought I'd come back and check the place out and it's great to see so many familiar names still hanging around!

I remembered it (had it saved in my keychain all these years) but got a message about too many attempts etc so reset it - ended up getting the same message with the new password but just went through the "type the word you can't read to save your life" process and it worked :D
