Art Wolfe in Australia

Postby radar on Wed Oct 12, 2011 1:19 pm

Art Wolfe is coming to Australia to give a lecture one night followed by a seminar the following day. He will be in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth in March next year. WA based photographer Denis Glennon is organising his visit.

This could be a great opportunity for a forum get together, certainly have plenty of notice :)

For those not familiar with Art Wolfe's work, see: http://www.artwolfe.com/

Cheers,

André

Gerry, are you attending the public lecture or the more expensive seminar? I reckon the seminar sounds much more interesting. $400.

Thanks for posting this Andre. I've made a deal if I get enough money back from my tax return this Saturday, then I'm booking the seminar. Not sure about the public lecture bit. But if I can't go to Antarctica this year (or the next) then this is probably the closest I'll get to reliving it :) Plus I might learn how to take better photos too!

Tax man was kind to me this year, so I'll be booking the seminar tomorrow. Anyone think its worth the extra for the public bit as well ? Andre which bit are you going to ?

I had a good think about it and just decided to do Saturday Seminar. Hopefully if we get a few of us we can turn it into a bit of a social event.

So I'm booked into the Workshop starts at 9am. Who else is coming down, as it would be good to catch up with anyone else that is attending!
