I don't know why so little MP... my IPhone 4s has 8mp... and looking at the state of the art lens ... the sensor must be at least 4 by 3mm! ... extrapolate that up and to match the density (not to menion built-in HDR! :bowdown: ) ... we should be looking at a minimum of (does some quick maths...) ... 600 odd MP

I'm guessing that with the high MP, DX mode will still have a pretty high pixel count. i.e. the camera could be used in either DX or FX modes and still be fairly high resolution.
