It's Christmas!!!

Postby darklightphotography on Sun Dec 25, 2011 7:13 pm

Merry Christmas to all the SA folk here! Here's hoping the New Year brings exciting photographic opportunities for everyone. We're heading of tomorrow to get in some bird photography in the Riverland, then I guess it's time to prepare for the mad month of the Fringe. :D

What is everyone else up to?

We are the opposite - Riverland and then Queensland. There's a good storm here tonight!

Have a good and successful trip.

I am taking it quietly. Need to put into the Bank as many sleep hours as possible for the 'Adelaide Fringe' :)

Happy holidays to all.

I'm also having a quiet break.

Hi Rob,

Most probably will be at the 'Tour Down Under' but the 600mm f/4 might be a bit long.
Do you still have the 200-400mm f/4?
How did you get the 600mm f/4 in the house and past the Finiancial Director (Lorraine)?
Let me know closer to the date, whether you are coming or not.

Well we headed up to Gluepot to take some tiny bird pics the past few days.

Apparently it rained. A lot.

That is a huge amount of rain there - must have made driving very diffilcult. Some nice captures and judging by the list Avril sent me you saw a huge range of birds, many more than our last visit. Plenty of rain up here in Mackay and as we head to Townsville tomorrow even more!!!
Oh well at least there are a lot of these around..
