Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Beautiful simple image Matt and Kudos for getting that reflection nicely lined up - compositionally I think I might have preferred the bird in about the same position slightly to the left of middle - perhaps, perhaps not.... Very interesting image Matt. Although it's good as it is, I reckon bit of extreme BW play may render the water less obvious thus making it even more abstract.

Great image. I think I'd like to see the heron a little more towards the bottom left corner so that it is flying into the frame rather than out of it.
