POTW 31/1/12Cameron was quite open in his post in saying that this POTW shot from his camera was from the hip and not quite in focus.
To me this is not as important as the image and what it conveys. The lines and strength combined with the desolate figure conjure up a powerful image. Congratulations Cameronand well worth your original posting. Chris

No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: POTW 31/1/12Well done Cam. The dam seems to have burst.
POTW 31/1/12Great job cam. There were a couple of beauties in that thread.
Re: POTW 31/1/12 Nice one!!
Re: POTW 31/1/12Way to go Cam.
It is a mellow pic
Re: POTW 31/1/12Thanks guys...I am overwhelmed with this POTW. I liked the image but I never would have guessed it would have a chance at POTW.
It may just be that my work has changed to appeal to more of the selectors here. Cameron

Stop over analyzing these things Cameron. Don't be too modest either.

:) - congrats Cam - it's all about the composition and light
Re: POTW 31/1/12
Don't worry Cameron I'm one of the selectors and I think it's a crap image. NOT You're being too hard on yourself. I like the isolation of the subject, the strong lines and the subtle light. It's a fine image. Well done and congratulations. Peter
