Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

My little man, 2 months on!

Finally i have had an opportunity to photograph my little fella with my d700, He's just turned 2 months old and getting some character. Didn't get to capture his smile, but I am quite happy with this shot. This was taken inside the house, set up my white backdrop and used a white basket we were given as a prop to sit him in, only natural light used from behind me, coming through a sliding door / window. Opinions are valued!

Here is Austin.

Definitely would have gone the landscape orientation, great natural lighting and setting...

Thanks guys, I've been listening from past threads etc about utilizing the natural lighting around especially with baby's and kids.
I wish I had done a landscape shot at the time, but with the older 3 siblings around I was trying to think quick n he the jb done, now that the kids are back at school I will have to try again!

Thanks for all your comments. :-)
