Governor General visitThe Governor General, Quentin Bryce, flew in yesterday for a surprise visit. With the river still above major flood levels, we are are still isolated and will be till at least late this week.

Re: Governor General visitThe last two are great images - i wish she was smiling in the second last one, it would make for a really neat portrait. I think even the smaller size flight helmet is gonna be too big for her!

She'd been on the go all day after being in Moree as well and looked pretty tired. The Seahawk was an unusual sight sitting on the local cricket pitch and half the town was looking it over.

The GG's husband getting some attention. Another for Gerry. Grass flying everywhere from the clippings of a freshly slashed oval after the long wet.
