Rugby 7s and a dash of cricketSaturday evening saw the annual district pre-season rugby 7s, played in heavily overcast weather with light infrequent showers. But nice and cool. Six district teams entered and each were coached guest coached by former Wallabies. No, not the ones with fur we see around here so often. Tom Bowman, Tim O’Brien, Michael Brial, Tim Kelaher, Sam Payne and duel international, Scott Gourley, who was actually raised in the district.
Several shots from the games. Optomism Getting high Try Before the Rugby there was a district cricket final in another town. He stopped the bouncer with the gloves but popped it up to silly mid off for an easy catch

agreed - although I reckon it could have done with less DoF - you could probably partially fake it with a foreground and background grad (in lightroom) with massive negative clarity. D600, D7000, Nikon/Sigma/Tamron Lenses, Nikon Flashes, Sirui/Manfrotto/Benro Sticks
