Red dirt duskOne from about 18 months ago. A normally light red roadway blushes with colour with the sunset glow. A couple of minutes from home and always covered in wild sunflowers. I had to crouch very low to avoid throwing a shadow in the frame with the last of the setting sun directly behind me.
Re: Red dirt duskYou've captured the spirit of Australia with that image. How perfect does that moon fit?
Regards
Matt. K
Re: Red dirt duskI love it, however i think getting the sunflower more prominent (larger) in teh frame would make for a stronger image.

No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Red dirt dusk
Up here, even the moon does what it can to be sociable. I love it, however i think getting the sunflower more prominent (larger) in teh frame would make for a stronger image. Agree and next time I'll make a point of it.
Re: Red dirt duskIt is a very good lanscape; simple and yet
effective with its contrasting colours. I couldn't help thinking that I would have put those sunflowers more in the foreground, which would probably would have ruined the landscape...
