Anyone interested in a road trip to Melbourne?

Postby sheepie on Mon Mar 14, 2005 7:57 pm

Hi all in Sydney (or thereabouts)...

I'm considering joining my family on their holidays in Melbourne the first week of the school holidays. Only thing is they'll be flying (they got some of those cheap flights).

Anyone interested in spending a couple of days driving down with photo opportunities on the way?

Would be doing it pretty much 'on the cheap', stay where we can get in at good rates, share costs, etc.

Taking my car (plenty room, good ride).

Any takers?

sheepie,
it seems to me you have lot of holidays and long week-ends, last week in Taree, this week at Jenolan Caves and week after next week in Mel.

Oh well

..and you forgot Easter back in Taree! lol

The Taree trip had no time off work tho - in fact, this coming weekend will be my first time off so far this year. Remember I worked through January with Year-end you know!

I dunno - most people at my work didn't. Try working out Year-end accounts when no-one with any info is at work! Have to make all sorts of assumptions, and they all come complaining when they come back 'cause you got it wrong
