Sow and pigletsSometimes known as the Apostles...
This one is a work in progress having shot one-handed through a helicopter window! Photography is not a crime, but perhaps my abuse of artistic license is?
Re: Sow and pigletsI've never seen it referred to in this manner. But for a single handed snap this is great...cant wait to see how it goes when you revisit

Re: Sow and pigletsIts a very tidy shot Mj and one that I think is worth pursuing further processing to remove those telltale signs of the window. I think a multitude of selective masks is gonna be required to help it out.
Great POV too...damn helicopters.. gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Sow and pigletsGreat to see a fresh perspective on this one. Any more to show?
Re: Sow and pigletsThats really very nice and a different view. Agree with gerry but you probably only have to deal with the ones over the water - most of the ones over the land look like a bit like natural variation in light (sun through clouds, etc).

I've a number but none strike me as that remarkable... nice to get a view from up high though. If the weather had provided some interesting light or I managed to capture a particularly spectacular wave crash that would have made my day. Photography is not a crime, but perhaps my abuse of artistic license is?
Re: Sow and pigletsGreat image but not sure about the title for the post.

Re: Sow and piglets
Ozi... before the '12' Apostles were renamed in 1922 they were known as the 'Sow and the Piglets'. The government of the day decided that '12 Apostles' would achieve a better tourism outcome (even though there weren't 12 of them to look at !!!). I guess the '8 Apostles' wouldn't have quite the same ring. Photography is not a crime, but perhaps my abuse of artistic license is?
