Melbourne Amature DSLR Photographers

Postby Brixy on Mon May 07, 2012 1:16 am

Hi everyone,

I am only new to DSLR photography. I recently bought a Canon 600D and have taken many photos and am getting into it.
But, I only know of one other person who is into photography and she is new to it as I am.

I would really love to be in contact with people from around Melbourne just to chat about photography, places to go, how to improve, etc. I am really into the photography, but would really like to learn more and make some really good contacts and perhaps friends along the way.

If you might want to be in contact, please MSG me. Would love to hear from you.

Cheers,
Warren

There should be some Melbournites lurking, it may be beneficial for you to add a location (ie Suburb + City) to your profile as this will help members who may be in the area decide to contact you. I for one have been able to contact many members and vice versa due to proximity courtesy of the location in profile.

G'day Warren

The Sydneysiders are definitely more active in organising meets, but there's a few of us Melbourneites lurking here. (I'll broadly include myself in that group, given that I haven't posted here for a long time...)

I'm in South Yarra, where are you? (Note the pink banner marked Forum Rules above!)

Happy browsing of this forum. There's a wealth of experience and beautiful pictures to inspire and educate you right here. I've learnt heaps from this site.

and I am still around doing photo stuff. I shot with Paul a couple of times several years ago, so maybe another Melbourne shoot should/could be arranged.
