More Olympus EM-5 images
I really like the files coming out of the EM-5. Shooting kids at 9fps makes for very quick filling of memory cards, but the whole shooting experience is very nice. I'm looking forward to seeing how the raw files stack up, but the Olympus jpg's seem good thus far.

Whilst I think the subject is well handled...the bokeh looks awfully harsh. It competes with the foreground in my opinion.Tha'st a characteristic of the lens.

I like the Olympus point and shoot and I have had so
far 3 of them, but they are reknown for theis soft lenses. Nice photos of the kid, though.

'tis true Matt. The lens used in these particular images is the very el cheapo 40-150mm. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear!  The bokeh from the 45mm is much better I think. President, A.A.A.A.A (Australian Association Against Acronym Abuse)

True enough statement, until I bought the 45mm 1.8 a short while ago. It is super sharp, as is (by all comments) the Olympus 12mm F2. It sure is pricey though. President, A.A.A.A.A (Australian Association Against Acronym Abuse)

The Panasonic 14mm f/2.8 is not bad, compact, and pretty economical too. ($200 or so on ebay when I picked one up)
The 45mm rocks.
