Tripod again..

Having thought ab out the Gitzo & Markins head at about $1000 all up, I've figured its a bit exy.

Found this tripod new on Ebay

1st: nothing goes wrong with Manfrotto.
2nd: it's a terrific price for that tripod and ballhead
3rd: you don't need another one if you get it, except monopod.
4th: you have to work hard on the bidding for it.
5th: Big smile on your face if you win the auction

It is Birddog, very! I worked from 11pm Saturday evening till 6am Sunday. We had a huge outage window to upgrade some Lucent ATM switches and also do some routing/switching changes in our core, we were meant to have completed the work in 3hrs but had some cable issues

as a result Im soooooo tired!

That's not my strategy once I frequently played bidding game on eBay, i rather stay silent and wait until the last second of the auction and bid with the maximum high price that I think no one will bid for, and walk away with the winning. My bid reversed back to the higher bid below mine, sometime I got caught with it but very rarely.

You have to spend time, stay alert and ready for the last minute of the challenge like ambushing tactics.

If you bid to high from the beginning then maybe the owner may leave a bid close to your bid.

It's all about strategy on ebay, both buying and selling.

Edit: Sometime I bid early and win and sometime I bid late and win. I bid $400 for some Gitzo legs and ball head the other day which was the min bid about 5 days before the item was supposed to end expecting I'd get outbid at some stage but happy if I got it for that price and noone else bid at all. I got a good deal considering the legs are US$330 by themselves.

I've just look at the ECS website, the Manfrotto 190 on ebay, it wasn't cheap enough on auction. Sold for $212.00

You can buy a brand new with warranty for $260.00 including GST
Manfrotto 190D + 141RC Ballhead and perhaps can be bargain with them.
