Hi All!
How are you printing panoramas? For example, if I've got Canon i965, which is A4 printer, is it posible to print pano and if it is what material or additional accessories I need?

Hilop,
I don't know much about Canon and I'm not the man for it but printing pano requires paper in roll, in Epson way, few Epson printer comes with extra bit to attached to it so the roll of photopaper can print to pano or banner size.

I've heard some people using multiple sheets and lining them up and scotch taping them together. Have to find the link for it.
Or what Birddog said

Hmmm, i too havent printed any of my panos yet either as i have a Canon i950 and it doesn't support roll paper. It's a pity as i would like to frame some of my shots and make some momey out of them, as well as plaster my walls with them.
An A3 printer would probably be best i reckon as they would be A4 in height and as long as you need them to be.

Just in case your printer doesn't support it and you don't know someone who has one that does, some photo processors can print panoramas...
My local print shop (Photocentric, Lane Cove Plaza) can definitely handle it... They print with an Epson and archive quality paper and inks...
No idea what the cost would be, but might be worth considering if you can't find another solution...

Although the printer dosen't support the roll of paper you can get
EPSON PANORAMIC PHOTO PAPER S041145 10 210mm x 594mm
I think its quite difficult to get,not sure if they still make it.
But have used it on a Canoni865 printing in PHotoshop, you need to muck about withe the image sizes to match the paper.

Kingsley,
what are your paper settings when you're using this roll paper?

sorry fro the delay.
ok it DOES work on a Canon i865
Using photoshop I printed out a image 5267pixels x 1605
Go print with preview
page setup
select landscape
size=custom
click printer
select properties
page setup
printer paer size select custom
custom paper size dialogue pops up
set printing type to "fit to page"
select ok
select ok
select ok
you should then see your preview
select print.
These settings are the one I just used quickly, not set in stone!
here are a couple of pics to prove.
Second one shows you top right what happens when you get your settings wrong.
Hope this helps,good luck
Graham

If you can get tehEpson Panoramic Photo Paper it comes in a pack of 10 sheets not on a roll.
the epson code for it is s041145,but I think they may have stopped making it,so if you see any snap them up
