Northhead Sunrise Session - keep your feet dryI know ya all hang out waiting for the next sunrise session
well, just in case anyone else is keen, this saturday is meant to be clearing with some clouds which does promise the possibility of some nice sunrise action. The location is just the touristy part of north head, no serious walking, no abseiling and no wet feet. sunrise is around 7ish, tides are lowish and low swell (which does not matter too much since there ain't much way to get to the water from up there) PM or text me if your keen. gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Northhead Sunrise Session - keep your feet dryI think I may bite.... Thank goodness there is no abseiling... My arms hurt from the last escapade....
Re: Northhead Sunrise Session - keep your feet dryFingers crossed it might be even something vaguely like this morning - weather was glorious and the sunrise (what little I saw of it at the trailing end) was possibly the best I've seen in a very very long time - even my wife was impressed.

As I said - nice save with the rope - you should see mine without the rope...
That "S" from up high is quite nice - it didn't quite work for me on the left where it breaks to open water tho D600, D7000, Nikon/Sigma/Tamron Lenses, Nikon Flashes, Sirui/Manfrotto/Benro Sticks

Re: Northhead Sunrise Session - keep your feet dry
you know what... it was actually alot harder to nail a good shot there, even if you got the compo good, gettign the expsoure, thru hdr or whatever was quite hard without get a shitty looking scene... yeah that break in the 'S' was unaviodable without being ejected from the tower and probably arrested gerry's photography journey
