Fungi Fantastico @ Lane Cove BushlandThis place is Colins wonderland I reckon.
Following a medicore fitness session at Manly, myself, Rodney and Suren headed to Lane Cove for a short Bushwalk in search of macro fungi fun. I am keen to see how Rodney's images with his new ring light come out. Colin, next time your in Sydney you will have to take us for a expert guide of this location gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: Fungi Fantastico @ Lane Cove BushlandVery nice, specially the first one. I guess they are
not edible...
Re: Fungi Fantastico @ Lane Cove BushlandFantastico indeed! Nice control of the lighting on these, are these with your lens mounted diffuser?
If they are edible, it looks like they would not provide much of a substantial meal! Fuji X-Pro1 | X-E1 | X-T1 | XF14 | XF23 | XF27 | XF35 | XF56 | XF60 | XF10-24 | XF18-55 | XF55-200 | MCEX-11

Re: Fungi Fantastico @ Lane Cove BushlandNice work with that first (actually shot last I presume) - I'm guessing that was the higher up one - yours is a lot better than mine from this location - your lighting and the dof for this one is excellent. I like the third as well - nice sidelighting.

Re: Fungi Fantastico @ Lane Cove BushlandGerry,
#3 is pretty nice IMHO. The Sliver of light makes it rather magical. #4 I'd do some dodge and burn to make the subject slightly stand out more.
Re: Fungi Fantastico @ Lane Cove BushlandThese are really good Gerry.
I especially like the first, very crisp. I have wanted to get down into this location for a couple of years now but just never seem to get there. Regards Colin
