Re: Check your D800 and D7000 batteriesYes it is the same recall - same batch of batteries. I don't understand why it took Canada until July 11 to announce it when Nikon life (and we - thanks Rodney ) knew about it on April 24

My batteries don't appear to be affected (going by their serial numbers), but I'd hate for my Nikon to turn into a cannon… Cheers Steffen. lust for comfort suffocates the soul
